A Montreal borough, Pierrefonds-Roxboro is bordered to the south and west by the West Island municipalities of Kirkland, Pointe-Claire, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Senneville and Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. Besides sharing a land border with the borough of île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève, it is bordered to the north by the Rivière des Prairies and to the west by Ahuntsic-Cartierville and Ville Saint-Laurent.

The area is served well by public transportation, but the best way to get around it and its neighbouring municipalities is by car. Drivers can access highway 20 and 40 by the main boulevards and highway 13, by Gouin Boulevard.
